“I am also a Bronze Public Order Commander and have enjoyed leading on some major events in the city including football fixtures at PNE and last year’s Radio 2 in the Park.

“It is a really exciting time to join the Neighbourhood Policing Team following the announcement of the new Neighbourhood Policing Guarantee, which will see an increase in visible patrols to tackle crime and ASB, and ensure residents have a named, contactable officer for their area.

“I am looking forward to working closely with partner agencies to tackle the issues that matter most to our communities across Preston.

“It’s a fantastic city with diverse and vibrant communities and my policing team is working on a number of initiatives – alongside partners – designed to make the local area an even greater place to live!”
