New name. New crest. New kit. New era.
Newcastle Red Bulls have officially unveiled their new club crest and playing kits ahead of their first match under the Red Bull banner.
The rebranded side will debut their striking new identity this Friday night when they host Harlequins in the Premiership Rugby Cup.
The 7.45pm Friday 12th September kick-off marks the start of an exciting chapter for the club, now part of the global Red Bull sports stable.
A Bold New Look
The team will take to the pitch in a bold black home strip, proudly bearing the new Newcastle Red Bulls crest. The badge features a prominent North Star, symbolising the club’s position as the northernmost team in the league and serving as a guiding light for its ambitions.
Two dynamic bulls charge forward across the emblem, representing relentless energy and momentum. The design also subtly includes a rugby ball and the iconic Tyne Bridge, anchoring the club firmly in its North East roots.
Honouring the Past
Alongside the home kit, Newcastle Red Bulls have unveiled a gold away shirt that nods to the club’s rich history. The colours echo those worn during the 1997–98 season, when the team, then newly promoted, clinched the Premiership title in spectacular fashion. It remains a unique achievement in English rugby history.
