Police are continuing to investigate a report of a rape in Leyland.
Officers were called to reports a woman had been raped in an alleyway off Leyland Lane during the evening of Saturday 20 September.
A report of a rape was made at 6.10pm on Sunday 21 September and Lancashire Police confirmed a woman in her 40s had been raped.
A police spokesperson said: “An investigation has been launched, and our enquiries are ongoing. No arrests have been made.”
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting log 0896 of 21 September.
