Urgent search for missing 63-year-old Phillip Plant continues and police release new image

The search for a missing 63-year-old with links to Preston continues with police releasing a new image.

Phillip Plant was last seen at Blackburn Hospital at 12.26pm on Tuesday (2 September).

Police have now confirmed that he was seen in Blackburn later the same afternoon, and illustrated in the new image they have released.

Those involved in the search believe that the missing man could be in Preston.

He is around 5ft 7, of slight build, with short white hair. When he was last seen, Philip was wearing a black long jacket, grey polo, black joggers and black trainers.

Police say they are concerned for Phillip’s welfare and if you see him you are asked to call 999.

A spokesperson for police said: “We are continuing to appeal for your help to find Phillip Plant, 63, who is missing from Blackburn and could be in Preston.

“Phillip was last seen at Blackburn Hospital at 12.26pm on Tuesday 2nd September and we are concerned for welfare.

“The image shown here is Phillip on Tuesday afternoon in Blackburn.”
