Donation to help keep food parcels for the homeless being delivered in the city

A charity, providing help and support to disadvantaged local people have received a donation from Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation.

Following a nomination by Preston branch employee, Nicola Dickinson, Luv Preston received £2,500 donation to continue to help homeless people in the community, including delivering food parcels.

Jack and Sue McVicar, the founders of Luv Preston, said: “We are so appreciative of the donation from the Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation. It will enable us to continue to serve the disadvantaged and hurting people of Preston.”

The charity, in Preston city centre, also work with people to refer them to other support and help them find longer term solutions.
