A charity, providing help and support to disadvantaged local people have received a donation from Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation.
Following a nomination by Preston branch employee, Nicola Dickinson, Luv Preston received £2,500 donation to continue to help homeless people in the community, including delivering food parcels.
Jack and Sue McVicar, the founders of Luv Preston, said: “We are so appreciative of the donation from the Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation. It will enable us to continue to serve the disadvantaged and hurting people of Preston.”

The charity, in Preston city centre, also work with people to refer them to other support and help them find longer term solutions.
Lynda Partington, Branch Manager of Yorkshire Building Society in Preston, said: “We are proud to be able to support Luv Preston in our community in Preston with a donation from Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation.
“Luv Preston provides an important service. The work that they are doing to support the homeless and vulnerable is making a huge difference.”
