EU leaders will discuss defense and support for Ukraine when they meet in Copenhagen on Wednesday.
The informal summit comes at an ominous time as Russian fighter jets have flown into NATO airspace — prompting EU chiefs and Donald Trump to publicly back the idea of shooting them down — and the airport in the Danish capital saw major disruptions last week because of mysterious drones described by Denmark as a “hybrid attack.”
