The Welsh Charity Awards 2025 are set to take place at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Thursday, 16 October, where some of Wales’s most inspiring volunteers and organisations will be celebrated for their remarkable work.

Hosted by BBC News Presenter Jennifer Jones, the event will recognise those tackling some of the country’s most pressing issues. The Cabinet Secretary for Social Justice, Jane Hutt MS, is expected to attend alongside Dr Neil Wooding CBE, WCVA Chair; Lindsay Cordery-Bruce, WCVA Chief Executive; and Tom Jones, WCVA Vice President.

The awards highlight the extraordinary dedication of people across Wales who are transforming lives in their communities. From supporting victims of bullying and helping asylum seekers to give birth with dignity, to teaching children safety in Welsh, this year’s finalists showcase compassion, innovation, and resilience.

Winners will be announced live at the ceremony between 9 pm and 11 pm and shared across social media channels.
