The frozen yogurt shop and cafe, which has eleven other UK stores in Manchester, Oldham, and Sheffield, has launched its biggest store yet in Preston.

With the first 100 customers receiving 50 per cent off during their Saturday (11 October) opening, the Frurt menu offers six flavours of frozen yogurt, along with a wide selection of toppings and sauces.

It is located in one of the empty units underneath the Portergate student flats at the university campus end of Friargate and according to the store manager, the store took six weeks to fit out.

Expanding beyond their frozen yogurt menu, the franchised store sells both coffee and protein snacks.

Preston store manager, Altaf Sardar, said: “We chose Preston because we feel like there is nothing like it here.

“We are all really excited and privileged to have the opportunity to have a store the size we have.”

When mentioning future products, he said: “A lot of products are in early stages of development, and possibly some products focused on breakfast.

“One of the things I am going to try and promote more is morning coffees, and that’s why we are opening at 8:30am compared to 11 like the other stores.”

The Preston store has 15 members of staff and opens on Friargate until as late as 2am.
