Man dies in helicopter crash in Sydney’s south-west

A man has died and another is in a critical condition following a helicopter crash in Sydney's west this afternoon.

At about 1.30pm, emergency services were called to Birch Street in Bankstown after reports of a helicopter crash.

He was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.

The man is yet to be identified.

Another man, aged 19 years old, was treated for serious injuries before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition.

A crime scene has been established, and the cause of the crash will be investigated.
