A man is in hospital in a critical condition after a crash which saw his car leave the M55 and land in a field.
Police were called to the scene of a single-vehicle crash on the M55 at around 9.40pm last night (1 October).
A grey Nissan Qashqai left the westbound carriageway on the M55 at junction 2, crashes into a roundabout at the end of the slip road and came to a rest in a field next to Edith Rigby Way.

A man, in his 20s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries and is described as in a critical condition.
The junction 2 sliproads of the M55 and Edith Rigby Way itself were closed well into Thursday morning (2 October) as a result while investigation work took place.
They were lifted at around 9.20am, police confirmed.
Lancashire Constabulary are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.
