Cabinet member for planning and regulation at the city council, councillor Amber Afzal, said: “Our officers are committed to tackling anti-social behaviour and preventing disturbances that can impact residents’ quality of life. This collaborative effort with the Prosper Partnership highlights the power of cooperative working to maintain a thriving community.

“We encourage residents to speak with their neighbours where possible, but when that fails and a legal notice is ignored, enforcement action becomes necessary.”

The owner of the equipment can apply to have it returned after 28 days subject to payment of the city council’s costs.

Neighbourhood policing inspector Adam Pearson said: “We will continue to work closely with partners and the local community to rebuild areas that have been blighted by anti-social behaviour.

“We are dedicated, as part of the Prosper Partnership, to evolving our community, making it a safer place to live, work and visit.

“We urge those in the area to tell us about the concerns they have so that we can continue to work alongside partners to combat them.”
