Preston City Council Ashton Ward by-election 2025 results

The polling stations are shut and the Ashton Ward of Preston has decided who its new councillor should be.

A six-way battle was contested between the Lib Dems, Reform, Labour, Conservatives and two independent candidates.

The by-election is being held due to the resignation of longstanding Labour councillor Robert Boswell.

The count is being held at Preston Town Hall directly after the polls close at 10pm and a result is expected before midnight.
