The fundraiser will be used to create a film of the drama and host free and “pay what you can” screenings across Lancashire.
With decades of experience tackling sensitive social issues, the Knot Project film will feature a workshop to give a voice to those who feel unseen and heard.
Claire Moore, director of Certain Curtain Theatre Company, said: “Your support can save lives. We all know someone who has struggled with alcohol, with relationships, with their mental health.
“The Knot Project shines a powerful light on these hidden struggles, exploring alcohol abuse, domestic abuse, and male suicide through the power of drama and film.”
Needing just under £5,000 to reach their target of £24,000, donations can be made to the project here and donations have to be made by 31 October.
