President Cyril Ramaphosa has highlighted South Africa’s ambitious infrastructure development programme designed to boost trade and attract investment.

The President is in Brussels, Belgium, attending the European Union’s Global Gateway Forum, a high-level summit focused on advancing global connectivity amid rising geopolitical and economic challenges.

In an increasingly divided world, he emphasises the need for global solidarity, urging wealthier nations to continue supporting developing economies.

The President’s remarks come at a time when South Africa is seeking to strengthen its strategic ties with the EU, its largest trade and investment partner, and establish itself as a key player in global supply chains.
