A soldier has suffered life-threatening injuries and two others have been injured in a crash at a Townsville military base in northern Queensland.
Queensland Ambulance Service confirmed they were called to the scene of a single-vehicle crash on Hervey Range Road at 6.42pm yesterday.
Multiple paramedic units, including a rescue helicopter, attended.

One person suffered life-threatening injuries.
Two others, including a man in his 30s and a man in his 20s, were taken to hospital in a stable condition.
It's understood the latter two have since been discharged.

The Department of Defence confirmed in a statement there had been an "incident involving Australian Defence Force personnel" near Townsville last night.
"The welfare of ADF members and their families is a priority and Defence's focus is on supporting those involved," a spokesperson said.
"Due to the developing nature of the incident, no further information will be available at this time and we request the privacy of Defence members and families is respected."
The spokesperson said further updates would be provided as they became available.
