UPDATE: Following a huge demand, Bristol Sounds has added a second date for The Streets. Mike Skinner will now perform A Grand Don’t Come For Free on both Thursday, June 25 and Saturday, June 27.
Dry your eyes, mate, summer might be over, but we can already start getting excited about next year’s. The much-loved open-air series, Bristol Sounds, returns to the city’s iconic Harbourside in June 2026—and the first wave of headliners has now been announced.
Running once again, across what would have been Glastonbury weekend, the 2026 edition sees the hit-stacked, high-energy synth-pop legends, Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark, headline on Friday, June 26. With over 40 million records sold worldwide, OMD promises a dancefloor-worthy celebration of four decades of innovation.
Then, on Thursday, June 25, and Saturday, June 27, The Streets return to the city to perform their game-changing 2004 album, A Grand Don’t Come For Free, in full, for the first time. The multi-platinum album that spawned iconic tracks like Dry Your Eyes, Fit But You Know It and Blinded by the Lights, cementing Mike Skinner as a generational British lyricist.
For over a decade, Bristol Sounds has been a must-attend fixture of the UK’s summer calendar for its eclectic programming and unbeatable city-centre setting. Set against the backdrop of Bristol’s Harbourside, more headliners and full lineups still to be announced, but it’s shaping up to be the go-to destination for festival-goers looking to fill the Glastonbury gap.

You can currently sign up for pre-sale for OMD now, while pre-sale for the Streets date has rolled over for Thursday, October 16, at 10am. Tickets for Bristol Sounds then go on general sale on Friday, October 17. You can access all by heading here.
