A light plane has crashed at Shellharbour Airport south of Wollongong, NSW, killing three people.
NSW Police said the plane crashed at 10am.
"Upon impacting with the ground, the aircraft caught on fire which was extinguished by Fire and Rescue NSW," police said.

Three people are confirmed deceased.
"A crime scene has been established and the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB), have been notified."
Ambulance NSW said they have multiple crews on the scene.
9News has contacted the airport.
The regional airport offers flights to Melbourne and Brisbane with Link Airways, but is also used by light aircraft.
