It’s that time of year again when the nights start to draw in, the air smells a little crisper, and you start to question whether that quick morning shower could be swapped for a long, lazy bath instead.
Luckily, Lush Cardiff has just dropped its new Autumn collection, packed full of comfort, warmth, and a touch of indulgence.
Think gourmand fragrances like the viral Super Milk and deliciously rich Sticky Dates, plus the first whiff of the brand-new Pumpkin Spice collection. If autumn had a signature scent, this would be it.
And with the clocks going back at the end of the month, that means an extra hour in bed, or in our books, an extra hour in the bath.
This year, Lush has really stepped it up. Alongside a range of new treats and returning favourites, they’ve also released a handy guide online to help you discover your perfect autumn scent. But honestly, smelling is believing. So get yourself down to the Lush Cardiff store, where the team will happily talk you through the collection, help match you to your ideal products, and might even throw in a soothing hand massage so you can try before you buy.
Here are a few things to look out for:
- Punkin Pumpkin Bath Bomb (£5.50) – a Lush classic and Halloween favourite that’s back for a limited time.
- Ghostie Bath Bomb (£5.50) – expect rainbow colours and cheerful vibes even on the darkest nights.
- The Pumpkin Tealight (£13) – possibly the most creative release yet. Use it as a tealight for a sweet scent, then drop it into your bath for fizzing magic. Three pieces equal three baths in our book.
- Alien Egg Shower Jelly (£10) – a nostalgic, wobbly throwback that glows when you shine a light underneath.
- Invaders from Mars Bubble Bar (£6) – a cosmic bath-time invasion of bubbles and colour.
- Alien Bubble Bar (£6) – someone tell Area 51 this one’s escaped.
- Bewitched Bubble Bar (£7) – perfect for black cat fans, this one’s a returning favourite.
- Phantom Foam Bubble Bar (£7.50) – our top pick for this season. Gorgeously scented and fun to use.
- Witch’s Cat Sheet Mask (£9.50) – something a bit different for your skincare routine.
If you’d rather fill your home with autumn fragrance, the Pumpkin Spice Candle (£16) is the ultimate cosy companion.
Lush has also launched a range of limited-edition gift sets, like the Boo Gift (£10) which is ideal for treating someone special (or yourself).
At last count, there were 81 Halloween-related products available in-store and online. That’s a lot of fizz, foam, and fragrance to explore.
There’s even a fun Scooby-Doo collaboration, which is expected to stick around into the new year.
