The bars were sold at room temperature in clear packaging with a cardboard label. The problem? Some of them may contain undeclared wheat or milk, meaning these allergens weren't listed on the label.</p><p class="shortcode-media shortcode-media-rebelmouse-image">

According to MAPAQ, any of the following may contain milk even if it's not indicated on the packaging:</p> <ul> <li> Amande</li> <li> Café du Kenya</li> <li> Écorces d'orange</li> <li> Noisette</li> <li> Éclats de fève de cacao</li> <li> Fleur de sel</li> <li> Pacane</li> <li> Pistache</li> </ul> <p>Two other products are flagged for potentially containing wheat:</p> <ul> <li> Perles craquantes chocolat au lait (milk chocolate crispy pearls)</li> <li> Perles craquantes 66% cacao (dark chocolate crispy pearls), which may contain both wheat and milk</li> </ul> <p>No illnesses have been reported, but MAPAQ urges anyone with sensitivities to avoid consuming these products. If you have one at home, you're advised to either throw it out or return it to the place of purchase.</p><p>The recall is precautionary, but allergic reactions to undeclared ingredients can be serious — and in some cases, life-threatening.
