SATA Theatre is set to perform a pantomime version of Puss in Boots.

The community theatre group, which is based at St Andrew’s Church Hall in Ashton-on-Ribble, will perform the show over three dates this November.

Written and directed by Stephen Hargreaves, the story follows Puss as he seeks to ensure Peter the Miller marries Princess Caroline. However Peter has been cheated out of his inheritance by his brothers and is left penniless. In order for Peter to take his rightful place as the Marquis of Carabass, Puss must defeat the evil Crowman.

The group has been busy getting ready for the shows, with rehearsals, scenery construction and costume preparations starting several weeks ago.
