We need your help to find someone amazing to be the Preston Christmas Lights Switch On Star for 2025.
In partnership with the organisers of the Christmas Lights Switch On, Preston BID, we are searching for a Proud Prestonian who’s a great community champion, and flies the flag for the city.
The Switch On Star will be invited on stage to speak to the event’s presenters in front of a huge home crowd, before helping to light up Preston for the festive season.
As well as appearing on stage, the winner will receive two tickets for the VIP reception, and a £50 voucher for Turtle Bay.
The free Switch On event takes place on Saturday 22 November from 5pm, and will feature a packed show with a number of artists and celebrities.

Last year’s competition was won by anti-knife crime campaigner, Byron Highton.
