“It is with a deep sense of sadness that we inform you of the passing on of Cde Dikeledi Magadzi this morning 28th December 2025,” says a statement from the African National Congress’ (ANC), Secretary-General, Fikile Mbalula.

Mbalula says “Cde Dikeledi Magadzi previously served as an ANC NEC Member as well as a Deputy Minister.”
“We take this opportunity to wish her family divine strength during these very trying times. We encourage all NEC Members to give her family the support that they need and to remember them in their prayers.” reads the statement.
An update on any further developments will be made as the family prepares to bid her final farewell.
