A cyclist in her 80s is in a ‘very serious condition’ in hospital after a crash just yards from Lancashire Police’s headquarters.
Police were called to the A59 Longton Bypass near Saunders Lane, Hutton, at 1pm on Tuesday 2 December.
A silver Vauxhall Insignia and a female cyclist were involved in a crash.

The pensioner cyclist was taken to hospital with injuries and police say her condition has since deteriorated.
Police say the driver of the Vauxhall stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.
