The annual Friends of Winckley Square Christmas Concert returns later this month.
Running from 3pm to 5.30pm on Sunday 14 December, the free event will be headlined by leading fire and light performance group Bring the Fire.

There will be traditional carols around the Christmas tree, led by St Stephen’s Choir, with sing-along opportunities during performances by popular Lancashire duo Clarkland and Preston Strummers.

As ever, the distinctive sound of Kenny on the bagpipes will echo around the Georgian square.

Entertainment will be accompanied by mince pies, parched peas and food from The Queen of Tarts, all of which can be washed down with mulled wine and real ale from the pop-up licensed bar.

Although the event is free, donations are encouraged to help ensure the Christmas concert continues for years to come.
