Residents of Hutton have come together this festive period to raise £1,500 for a community Christmas party.
The party brought live music, a DJ set, food, a raffle and bingo and raised money for Rosemere Cancer Foundation.

Organised by Leah Thompson and family from Hutton, her grandad and next-door neighbour are currently undergoing treatment at Rosemere.

She said: “We have many connections through family and friends to Rosemere Cancer Centre and wanted to show our appreciation for the work that is done there. Having a community Christmas party seemed the perfect fundraiser.
“We’d like to thank all our helpers and party guests plus Boots the Chemist in Preston city centre and Newgate Nurseries in Whitestake for donating raffle prizes.”
