A local business has set out to donate £5 per sold sweatshirt and hoodie to good causes.

Nika Bracegirdle, the founder of Me & I Apparel, a Preston-based clothing brand, has been giving back to Derian House Children’s Hospice for the past month.

When talking about the reasoning behind giving back to this charity, Nika said: “As a mum of four, anything involving children and families touches me deeply.

“The thought of parents and little ones going through such emotional and challenging times really stayed with me.”

“Supporting a local hospice felt like a meaningful way to give something back to the community that has been part of my life for so long.”

Nika added that supporting charities feels like a “natural extension” of what the business stands for, since its opening in 2024.

With monthly campaigns, the Derian House agreement has come to an end and Nika is agree to give back to St Catherine’s Hospice at the start of December.
