A man has been charged with causing the death of a grandfather in Preston in November 2024.
Emergency services were called to Fylde Road in Preston at around 8.40pm on Saturday, 30 November 2024 after reports of a road traffic collision where a pedestrian had been struck by a Suzuki Swift.
The car failed to stop at the scene. Lee Robinson, 49, was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident.
A man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop. He has now been charged.

Reece Baron, 25, of Ellen Street, Bamber Bridge, is charged with causing death by dangerous driving, failing to stop at the scene of a collision and failing to report a collision.
He is due to appear before Preston Magistrates’ Court on February 4.

To determine the results, participants were asked about factors like salary, flexibility, career growth opportunities, and workplace training programs.</p><p>Of the 300 employers highlighted, 28 employers in Quebec made the cut.
