A man has been charged with driving offences after a police chase in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Broughton residents were awoken by a police presence and the police helicopter being scrambled.
Preston Police say a car failed to stop in James Towers Way (the Broughton Bypass) around 3.15am on Sunday.

A pursuit took place and the car was found in Cumeragh Lane, Whittingham, around 3.43am.
Corey Vaughan, 22, of Cumeragh Lane, Whittingham, has now been charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop and driving a vehicle when above the alcohol limit.
He’s been bailed to appear at Preston Magistrates’ Court on Friday 9 January.
