A newbuild bungalow could be built in the garden of a home close to Garstang Golf Club if plans are approved.
In proposals lodged with Wyre Borough Council by DBA Architects on behalf of Neil Stoddart, permission is sought to build the property in the garden of Stonecroft, Byerworth Lane South, Bowgreave, Garstang.
The large garden to the right of the property would be the site of the new bungalow, which would be fitted with solar panels and, to keep inline with the council’s planning policies, an electric car charging point.

In the planning statement it says: “The application site is within the large garden curtilage to the west of Stonecroft, which is [a] detached bungalow located to the south of Byerworth Lane South.
“[This] is a narrow access road which is classed as a byway open to all traffic but is used primarily as a bridleway.
“The site is a large lawned area of garden. There is an existing gated access to the north west corner of the site for intermittent vehicular access. Three individual trees will need to be felled to make way for the development. The cluster of silver birch trees to the south west corner of the application site are to be retained.”
