An investigation is underway after an incident of suspected arson in the grounds of a hotel in Charnock Richard.
Emergency services were called to the scene of a fire on the grounds of the Park Hall Hotel in Charnock Richard shortly before 7pm on Sunday (25 January).
The fire was at an outbuilding within the hotel grounds and is being investigated by Lancashire Constabulary as potential arson.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service said: “At 18:52 on January 25, 2026, three fire engines from Chorley and Leyland, along with a water bowser from Leyland, attended a commercial building fire on Park Hall Road, Charnock Richard.
“Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two hose reels to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately four hours.”
