Leyland Trucks recruiting for 21 new apprentice places

Leyland Trucks has opened applications for the 2026 intake of its award-winning apprenticeship scheme.

Opening 21 places, the apprenticeships will be available for aspiring engineers, technicians and business professionals.

It will include a range of four-year degree apprenticeships in design engineering, IT software engineering, and supply chain, alongside some Level 4 programmes.

Maria Rogers, learning and development manager at Leyland Trucks, said: “We’re delighted to open applications for this year’s apprenticeship scheme – one of our most varied and exciting programmes yet.

“If someone brings ambition and commitment, this programme gives them everything they need to build a successful career in our industry.

“Year after year, our apprentices go on to build secure, rewarding careers. We’re proud to invest in the next generation who will one day become the backbone of our business and the wider region.”

To apply, candidates should complete an online application, and the final deadline for applications is 1 March 2026. Applicants will be contacted by 20 March, with shortlisted candidates invited to interview from 30 March to 10 April.
