A 25-year-old man has appeared in court to face charges after a woman was attacked near to Longridge.
James Fry, 25, has been charged with four counts of harassment, stalking with the fear of violence and wounding with intent.
Lancashire Police were called to Inglewhite Road, between Longridge and Goosnargh at 2.14am on Wednesday 14 January following reports a woman had been the victim of serious assault.

The woman has been taken to hospital for her injuries, but they are not thought to be life threatening.
While Fry, of no fixed address, faces charges at Blackburn Magistrates’ Court the police investigation is continuing.
