Firefighters from Preston were sent northwards to rescue a person who had become stranded at height.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service sent crews from Preston and Fulwood to Barnacre.
One person was rescued from a property between Catterall and Garstang.

Firefighters were on the scene for nearly two hours while they worked to bring the person involved down safely.
No details were given for where in Barnacre the incident took place.
