Police catch driver doing 52mph on 30mph route

Two roads in Chorley have seen police carry out a speeding operation.

Chorley Police caught one driver doing 52mph in a 30mph section of Wigan Road in Euxton during Friday 2 January.

Officers were also out in Ulnes Walton Lane.

Sergeant Harrison of Chorley and South Ribble task force said mostly all motorists were sticking to the speed limits.

The speeding driver had been reported.

The operation was carried out in response to community concerns about speeding on both routes.
