A home in Preston has been served with a three-month closure order by police after a string of anti-social behaviour incidents.

A closure order may be given to a residential property where there have been incidents and it means that anyone who is not a registered occupier of the address cannot enter.

The address in question is at Dodgson Road in the St Matthews area of Preston.

PC Jake Davies, of Lancashire Constabulary, said: “We welcome the result of the order on this property that was causing concern in the local community.

“This behaviour won’t be tolerated, and this action demonstrates that we will take the appropriate action to safeguard people and deal with criminality.”
