St Catherine’s Hospice’s Prom dress pop-up event is returning for another year.

The event will be hosted on the 31 January (10am-4pm) and 1 February (10am-4pm) in The Garden Room at the hospice on Lostock Lane in Lostock Hall.

The event promises quality dresses in different styles and sizes with “price points to suit every pocket.”

A spokesperson for St Catherine’s said: “St Catherine’s Hospice has been hosting its annual Prom event for several years now, and its popularity just keeps growing. What started as a simple idea has become a much-loved highlight of the community calendar.

“Not only does the event help raise vital funds to support the incredible work of the hospice, but it also champions sustainability. By giving pre-loved prom dresses a second life, guests can find a stunning outfit at just a fraction of the usual cost- saving money while reducing waste.

“It’s a feel-good event in every sense: supporting an important cause, promoting eco-friendly choices and helping people look and feel fantastic on their big night.”

St Catherine’s Hospice cares for people with life-shortening conditions and their families across Preston, Chorley and South Ribble.

They rely on fundraising to keep the hospice afloat and must raise £4.25 million a year to support the work they do, so fundraisers such as this are vital for the work that they carry out.
