There are a handful of new films arriving in cinemas across Preston this week, alongside several unique releases.

28 Years Later: The Bone Temple is in theatres now. This film serves as the second in a brand-new horror trilogy from director Danny Boyle and writer Alex Garland.

Rental Family starring Brendan Fraser has proven a hit among film festivals, and is set to make a splash in the upcoming awards season. The comedy-drama film follows an American actor living in Japan who is recruited to be a rental family member, stepping into strangers’ lives to be a father, a husband, or sometimes just a friend.

Finally, Miss Moxy is an animated film with a 3D stop-motion style, though it is entirely computer-generated. It’s a Belgian-Dutch joint production, and sees a boisterous cat embark on a big adventure to travel across Europe and return home to their family.

Following on from the new additions, this is all of the unique listings playing between Friday, the 16th, and Thursday, the 22nd of January.
