She told Blog Preston: “Our children were inspired by them, it’s been a really good vibe around school.
“We’ve had them talking about them all week, we’ve had parents coming in thanking us for inviting them in, our children got a lot from it.”
The year one classes at the school had an extra session where they presented stories they had written fittingly based on the book Supertato.
Ms Slater added that Jacob and Harley acted as “really good role models for our children.”
The Spud Bros said: “The kids were brilliant, full of great questions and energy, and it was amazing to see how engaged they were.
“Huge thanks to the staff for welcoming us in and giving us the opportunity.”
