Cae Court Hotel in Bridgend is celebrating national recognition after being announced as the winner of Channel 4’s hit TV series Four in a Bed.
The popular tea-time programme sees four B&B or boutique hotel owners take turns staying with one another, before scoring their experiences for quality, cleanliness, facilities and value for money. The week culminated with Cae Court Hotel revealed as the highest scorer, securing the win following a series of anonymous reviews and a judgement on the value offered.
Hotel owner Steve Clarke, who appeared on the show and personally hosted the visiting contestants, impressed his fellow competitors with the hotel’s immaculate, newly refurbished rooms and a standout, colourful and flavour-packed Spanish breakfast that brought something refreshingly different to the competition.

The win shines a spotlight on what the hotel’s guests already know: Cae Court is the place to stay for a quiet, luxurious Bridgend break. Recently updated rooms combine contemporary comfort with crisp presentation, which earned praise for their cleanliness and comfort. The hotel’s commitment to high standards proved decisive during the show’s famously meticulous inspections.
Following the final show, Steve remarked: “We are absolutely thrilled to have won Four in a Bed. Taking part was an incredible experience, and I was proud to personally host the other contestants here in Bridgend – they should all be very proud of their lovely venues too.” He added: “Comfort and cleanliness are elements we take a great amount of care about for our guests, and our Spanish breakfast is a real passion project for us, so to see those recognised on national television means a great deal to me, and all our colleagues here at Cae Court. We’re all excited to welcome new guests who discovered us through the show to our hotel and restaurant.”
Beyond the hotel bedrooms, Cae Court has developed a distinctive hospitality offering centred around its on-site Spanish restaurant, Gin & Sangria. The restaurant celebrates authentic Mediterranean flavours in a stylish yet relaxed setting, serving traditional Spanish dishes such as its trademark Paella, with expertly paired drinks.
During the summer months, guests can enjoy the hotel’s vibrant patio area – a sociable outdoor space perfect for alfresco dining, bespoke house cocktails and relaxed evenings with friends. A dedicated lounge bar adds to the experience, with coffees and Para Picar – tapas snacks to share – making the venue a destination from morning through to late evening.
With its award-winning rooms, vibrant Mediterranean dining and welcoming outdoor hospitality space, Cae Court Hotel is now inviting guests to experience the winning formula for themselves.

In such cases, you'll spend a set amount working on-site and then back home—for example, 14 days on-site and 14 days off at home. NAV CANADA covers the cost of travel for the fly-in and fly-out locations.

It's worth keeping in mind, though, that locations are not assigned until after the initial training course is successfully completed.

Although you don't need any specific experience or a degree-level education to apply, there are a few qualities you must have to be considered a good fit.

NAV Canada is looking for individuals who are highly motivated, have excellent teamwork skills, can multitask and problem-solve, and have a great memory.

You'll also need to be at least 18 years old, have a secondary school diploma (or equivalent), be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, and be bilingual in French and English.

You must also be prepared to complete cognitive testing for the required competencies, including language testing and testing at an assessment centre.
