A candlelit vigil was held at the University of Lancashire after the death of student Carla Georgescu.

The vigil, arranged by members of the Lancashire Students’ Union invited people to bring photos, flowers and artwork to remember the 19-year-old on Tuesday evening (10 February).

This follows Thursday’s (5 February) discovery of Carla Georgescu’s body inside the Ribble Hall student accommodation on Victoria Street.
