Dave Spikey donates sell-out show proceeds to Royal Preston Hospital cancer centre

Comedian, writer and actor Dave Spikey donated an entire night’s payment to a Royal Preston Hospital based charity.

The sell-out show held last month raised a total of £6,299.58 for Rosemere Cancer Foundation.

Dave, who played Jerry St Clair in Phoenix Nights, co-written with Peter Kay, chose to support Rosemere as he said it is close to his heart after his brother’s treatment.

Held at the Burnley Mechanics Theatre at the end of last month, Dave has closed every one of his stand-up tours with at least one charity performance.
