Dozens of illegal e-bikes and e-scooters will be crushed after being seized by Lancashire Police.

Over a three month period from November to January, officers from the Neighbourhood and Roads Policing Teams took the vehicles off the roads and streets of Preston, Chorley, South Ribble and West Lancashire.

The work was done as part of Operation Centurion, a county-wide clampdown on anti-social behaviour which involved targeted action. In total, 56 e-bikes and 19 e-scooters were seized and, according to police, are “on the way to the crusher”.
