It is vital that Preston is well-represented on the Weekender stage, and the lineup for both Saturday and the soon-to-be-announced Sunday show does exactly that.
Joining Cream resident Kola and co-headliners Paul Oakenfold and Joel Corry are two of the city’s most respected names: Jason Marx and Brian Hudson.
Both Jason and Brian are staples of the Northern music scene. With years spent holding down residencies and headlining venues across the region, they are guaranteed to bring energy, professionalism, and a distinct ‘Preston touch’ to this landmark event under the watchful eye of the iconic Harris.
Jason Marx has been a fixture on the European festival circuit for over a decade. A House music purist with deep roots in Soul and Disco, Jason has shared stages with industry giants like MK, James Hype, and Tom Zanetti.
Currently a regular at Chew’s Yard, his recent 90s specials and soulful grooves have become a go-to for the city’s music lovers. As a seasoned selector, he’s known for delivering big grooves with unexpected twists and turns, plus being the founder of Preston DJ Social.

Complementing the vibe is Brian Hudson, a master of soulful disco house. A true veteran of the Preston scene with over 30 years of experience behind the decks. From his legendary days at the iconic Tokyo Jo’s to his current status as the face of the Uptown Discothèque brand, Brian is a master of soulful disco house.
Renowned for his impeccable mixing and infectious energy, Brian has built a loyal following through his ability to blend classic sounds with contemporary beats. A consummate professional, he is an expert at reading the crowd and igniting the dance floor.
Together these local favourites ensure that the heart of Preston’s own music scene is beating loud and proud at the centre of the Weekender.
While the Saturday lineup is already looking massive, the full details for the Sunday show are set to be revealed very soon.
