M6 Junction 29 northbound closure to continue into early hours

Motorists wanting to leave the M6 at Junction 29 northbound are being warned of a closure.

Lancashire Police have been on the scene of a crash since around 5.30pm on Friday (13 February).

The slip road is expected to remain closed until around 1am on Saturday (14 February) due to the crash.

The M6 northbound itself remains open past the scene with anyone wanting to join the M65 being advised to head up to Junction 31 (Samlesbury), and leave the motorway there and rejoin southbound, and then come back down to exit onto the M65.
