A Queensland man has been charged with murder more than 18 months after a 3-week-old baby died in hospital.
Hank Sherriff, 25, was charged on Monday with murdering the three-week-old.
The boy was taken to Queensland Children's Hospital on July 18, 2024, in a critical condition but with no obvious injuries.

The death also triggered an 18-month police investigation that came to an end on Monday morning, when the 25-year-old was arrested.
Police will allege in court that Sherriff and his baby boy were the only two present in the Rosemary Street, Greenbank, home when the ultimately fatal injuries were inflicted.
"We've relied on evidence forensics and the expertise of medical and it's only upon the review of those results and those examinations that we've been able to progress this matter today," Detective Acting Inspector Glen Antonie said outside Logan Central police station today.
Antonie said there was a distinction between a charge of reckless indifference and the murder charge police instead chose to pursue.
"The medical examination report that we have received that we've placed our action off today is extensive, and it clearly articulates the reason why we've progressed forward for murder," he said.
Sherriff faced Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday and was remanded in custody until February 25.
