Sue Swire, Expedition group member and Rosemere Cancer Foundation’s fundraising manager, said: “Tracey continued to support the group and to fundraise.

“She was with us not only in spirit but also in the form of a cushion we had printed with her photo that accompanied us throughout the expedition.

“It was great to catch up with the group and reveal the collective amount members had raised through their individual sponsorships. We’re all absolutely delighted with the final total and so grateful to everyone who supported us.”

Sue added: “Next year, Rosemere Cancer Centre celebrates its 30 th birthday and I am looking at organising a commemorative expedition for that a little closer to home, possibly in the Transylvanian Alps.

“If anyone is interested in joining us, please get in touch to register interest. Our Cambodia expedition team had members ranging in age from their 20s through to their 70s.”
