The owners of a cocktail bar in Penwortham have put the business on the market but insist that the business has a strong future.

No. 16 on the Hill, on Liverpool Road, was opened in March 2020 and sits on a row of units that also includes 1260 Craft & Crust.

The business is described as a ’boutique cocktail bar’ by Sidney Phillips, the company handling the marketing for the business, who say the leasehold is available for £104,995.

The operators of No. 16 on the Hill said they are proud of what the business has achieved in what is a ‘challenging trading climate’.

A statement from owners Antony and Steph to Blog Preston said: “After much consideration, we have made the decision to place No.16 on the Hill on the market. This choice comes from a desire for a change in direction, alongside prioritising our health and family time.

“We are incredibly proud of what No.16 has become. Despite a challenging trading climate, the business has continued to grow and thrive, which is a true testament to the loyalty of our customers and the hard work of our team.

“While No.16 is no longer the right long-term fit for us personally, we firmly believe it has a strong future ahead under new ownership. The bar will continue to operate as normal throughout the sales process, and we remain fully committed to maintaining the high standards our customers expect until a sale is completed.”
