There’s another selection of great films arriving in Preston cinemas this week including Wuthering Heights, which adapts the classic Emily Brontë novel in all its period drama glory. Two of Hollywood’s biggest heartthrobs, Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, are the leading characters, and it’s directed by the brilliant Emerald Fennell. The movie arrives on Valentine’s Day, perfect for a romantic night out.
Crime 101 is a star-studded heist thriller led by Chris Hemsworth as a thief setting up for his final job. Hemsworth is joined by Halle Berry, Mark Ruffalo, Barry Keoghan, and many more in what is sure to be a spectacular crime thriller.
Whistle is a tense supernatural horror wherein a group of college students finds an ancient Aztec whistle that, once blown, ensures their terrible and tragic deaths. Led by Dafne Keen and arriving on Friday the 13th, this is a solid choice for horror fans.
It’s Never Over, Jeff Buckley is a musical documentary featuring exclusive footage from the incredible Jeff Buckley, whose career exploded after releasing just one album, before he tragically died in 1997. A wonderful celebration and exploration of his life and music.
GOAT is an animated family film from the animators of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and K-Pop Demon Hunters. The film follows a young goat who yearns to play basketball with the pros.

Little Amelie, or the Character of Rain, is a beautiful and unique hand-drawn animated story about a child discovering the world, capturing the magic and wonder of looking through a child’s perspective.

The Secret Agent

The Secret Agent is one of the films being hotly discussed this Awards season, due to releasing stateside back in 2025. Now, it is set to arrive in cinemas across the UK from the 20th of February, but somehow, Odeon has managed to secure an earlier screening without the guise of their mystery Screen Unseen. Watch Wagner Moura of Narcos fame in what may be the defining movie of his career.
