Preston’s iconic nightclub Tokyo Jo’s rises from the embers with surprising regularity.
It’s due to a local DJ buying the rights to the name of the nightclub and taking it on tour around city venues.
What started as a reunion night in 2019 at the original Tokes itself in Church Street has relocated after the devastating fire in 2022 which saw the venue demolished.

Tokyo Jo’s reunion brings together clubbers of a certain vintage to relive their youth, and no doubt really feel it the following few mornings too.
The latest reunion is taking place on Thursday 2 April at Stage City, with a Bank Holiday the following day (and indeed the majority of the Easter weekend too).
We’ve teamed up with the team at Tokes reunions for some pictures specials of those posing in the entrance at the Tokes board before they enjoy their night out.
