Celebrate the Easter holidays in style with a wide range of events being hosted throughout the coming week and into the weekend.
Whether you want to treat your kids to a royal afternoon tea with Disney Princesses, enjoy live music from newcomers and legends, attend a TCG convention at the Uni, or take part in a proper Easter party, there is plenty to get involved with this week in Preston.

Haighton Manor
Haighton Manor is hosting a magical event for young fans of Disney Princesses, where five of the most iconic princesses from Disney will be a part of a special Afternoon Tea.
Problem Patterns + The Red Stains + Pocketknife
The Ferret
Three distinct acts, each bringing unique voices and sounds to their music, will take the stage at The Ferret on Tuesday evening.
Wednesday 1 April
Samlesbury Hall
A special after-dark guided tour of Samlesbury Hall, revealing some of the tall tales associated with the Hall itself and the surrounding grounds.
Thursday 2 April
The Empire Police + Dulakes + Stormkerb
The Ferret
Thursday evening will see a couple of local acts in the spotlight at The Ferret as both The Empire Police and Stormkerb hail from Preston. Along with Dulakes, resulting in a brilliant night of live music.
The Continental
This unique show sees the star of the infamous stage show in a much more intimate light, as Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street, reveals some of his darkest secrets. Performed by Jonathan Goodwin.
Chew’s Yard
The Simpsons may be one of the most dysfunctional families on TV, but they have also become absolute icons with a devoted fanbase. So, if you count yourself a Springfield Superfan, this is a chance to prove your Simpsons trivia knowledge.
Friday 3 April
Lilly Tarmey acoustic set on Good Friday

Lilly Tarmey is a local from Leyland, and on Friday she’s putting on a free performance featuring toe-tapping classics and modern hits perfect for a sing-along.
The Ferret
Nordic Giants promises to put on a phenomenal post-rock show that will transcend genres and blend artistic vision by using multiple formats and exploring creativity and community.
Unlocked: Graeme Park & Guest DJs
The Continental
Graeme Park has been honing his skills as a DJ for more than three decades, both in live settings and on the radio. This Friday, he’ll be bringing all of that energy and experience to The Continental along with a few guest DJs.
Saturday 4 April
The Atrium, ULan
Fans of Trading Card Games are in for a treat with the upcoming Preston Card Fest. More than 50 tables of TCG and traders covering all the most popular games and formats from Lorcana to Pokémon, to Magic: The Gathering, and beyond.
St Bernard’s Larches & Savick Community Hub
An Easter holiday party perfect for the whole family. With a bouncy castle, activities, and food available on site, this promises to be an entertaining and engaging afternoon.
Chew’s Yard
Chew’s Yard is also hosting an Easter celebration in the style of Carnival. With music, performances, parades, and other activities alongside food stalls, this is a comprehensive event with something for all ages.
The Tommy Scott Duo (Tommy & Phil from SPACE)
The Ferret
Tommy Scott and Phil Hartley from Space have taken to doing smaller duo shows where they perform some of the greatest hits of the band, along with some of Tommy’s solo projects.
The Continental
The Kingshakes offer a rockabilly sound that has taken them around the UK, and beyond. Now, they will appear in The Continental playing a mix of original songs and covers.
Sunday 5 April
Demented Disco x Chew’s Yard – Easter Sunday House & Disco!
Chew’s Yard
Demented Disco has hosted parties all over Europe, and now they are bringing that energy and vibrancy to Preston. Expect loud music, classic dance hits, and a late night of partying.

RBO 2025-26 – The Royal Opera: Siegfried
The Arc Cinema, The Flower Bowl, Odeon, Vue

Mario Kart Big Screen Tournament for Under 14s
The Arc Cinema
To mark the release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, The Arc Cinema is hosting a special Mario Kart tournament where under-14s can compete on the iconic tracks as seen in the film, such as Rainbow Road.
